New Features

Whether you place ads online or search and browse through our thousands of weekly classified ads, WantAds4u.com has added some impressive new features that are sure to make your online experience even more enjoyable.

New Features for Placing Online Ads*:

Show n Sells - Now online ad placers can place Show n Sell ads online. Just upload the photo of your item, type in the ad text (up to 20 words), choose your online extras and check out. It’s that easy.

Featured - Want more people to see your ad? Now you can make your online ad a “Featured” ad. When you select this option, your ad will be placed so that anyone browsing that section will see your ad right on the top of the list.

Renew* - Since all of your previously-placed ads are saved in our system you can now easily rerun an ad with very little effort. Just find the old ad and click “Renew”. This will place a copy of the old ad in your cart, allowing you to edit it and then purchase the ad to run again.

Extra Online Content - Would you like to give more information about your item to online readers? Now you can. Just enter extra text into the “Online Only” text area. Would it be easier to sell your item if people could see additional photos? Now you can add additional photos that can be seen by anyone viewing your ad online. And, your printed ad will include information at the end of the ad letting readers know how they can find your additional information online.

Web# - A Web# is a unique identifier for ads that are placed online. The Web# is automatically added to the end of your ad as it is placed in the printed paper. This allows readers to easily find your additional online content when they log in to the site.

New Features for Viewing Online Ads:

My Favorite Search Terms* - Do you regularly search for the same keywords every week. If so, you’re gonna love this new feature. Tell WantAds4U what you want to search for and it will automatically search for you each week when the new ads are posted. Also, the system will send you an email notifying you how many ads matched your search.

Ads per Page - You’ve just searched the site and it has returned 100 different ads that match your search criteria. You can, if you like, scroll through different pages to see all of the ads; or, with our new “Ads per Page” selection, you can choose to see 9, 30, 60, 90, even 120 ads per page making it easier than ever to find just what you are looking for.

Highlight Ads - When you browse through the printed paper you might like to use a highlighter to mark the ads that you find appealing. Now, you can do the same thing with WantAds4u.com. Just find an ad that you want to mark and click it. When you want to see all of your marked ads, just click “Only My Highlighted Ads” and your screen will show just the ads that you have marked in this session. Now, you can print all of your marked ads on one sheet. Happy shopping!

Additional Content Icons - Wantads4u.com has added Additional Content Icons to provide you with much more information about your favorite ads.

See Full Ad - If an ad is too long to fit in the given space this icon will appear. Click it an you will see the full text of the ad.

All from Seller - Click this icon to automatically search for all ads submitted by this Seller.

See a Photo - Click this icon to see all of the photos submitted with this ad.

Go to Website - Click this icon to go to the website that is linked from this ad.

Email Seller - Click this icon to send an email to the Seller.

See as a PDF - Click this icon to see a PDF of the display ad currently running in the printed paper associated with this ad.

See Business Card - Click this icon to see the Seller's business card.
